Toronto Culture

Toronto is in the middle of the intellectual and cultural life of anglophone Canada. The anglophone chain of Radio-Canada, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, seat in Toronto, like TV Ontario and TFO, the chains english-speaking and French-speaking person of the Ontarian government.

The majority of the publiitrs are in Toronto. The International Festival off Authors in Harbourfront Center is the first literary festival in anglophone Canada. Toronto is also a production center for film and the theater (International festival of film of Toronto ([1]). The national Ballet of Canada and Toronto Symphony Orchestra are in Toronto. There are two local dailies, national Toronto Star and Toronto Sun and two daily newspapers, The Globe and Mail and National Post. Moreover, there are several daily free newspapers (Subway, 24 Hours) and weekly magazines (Now, Eye,…). The public library of Toronto has, inter alia, the largest public collection of document concerning to the science fiction, the Merril collection, rich person of more than 55.000 articles.
